If you bash Matt Ryan after a terrible performance you are a "Troll" or "Closet _____ Fan". You can never speak an ill word about the guy, but, it's perfectly acceptable to bash the ever living shit out of our new OC before the guy even has a chance to show us what he's got. The guy hasn't even done anything wrong yet, and fans are tearing into the guy like he's the one that just led our offense to a scoreless postseason game. Our fans are so hypocritical and bass ackwards it isn't even funny any more. I'm just gonna start taking names so that if/when the guy ends up being an offensive genius for us, i can embarrass the fuck out of y'all.

Matt Ryan has proven something. Coach Smith had 20 times the accomplishments of this guy getting the coaching job. This guy has nothing, caliber. It was a timid, lazy hire. He said the word "vertical", and he knew Smitty. That's how he got the job.
I will GLADLY eat my crow if I'm wrong, but there is nothing on my Atlanta Falcons fan card that says I have to like who the Falcons hire at offensive coordinator.
I honestly don't think you'd say anything different if we hired the guy who played the coach from Friday Night Lights. His resume does not give anyone any confidence. I;m sorry, I'm usually a good soldier, but I despise this hire, and I'm not going to shut up.

To be fair, I think that the fans are tearing into him like he is the guy that just orchestrated (as the OC & Qb coach) the worst offense in the NFL.

1st, Lets be real here, Matt Ryans track record at this point is beating below average to average teams in the regular season. That is 100% FACT. Cant wait to see the ppl prematurely bashing our OC come bash me for saying that.
2nd, You all find it perfectly reasonable to say MM has held Ryan back, but don't even want to acknowledge the VERY REAL possibility that the FO, coaching and talent in Jax held Koetter back.
3rd, With SUBSTANTIALLY less offensive talent in Jax, between 2007 and 2010 his offense wasn't far behind us AT ALL. The guy made something out of nothing for many years. He had No WR's, QB's and his only offensive talent is a RB (Whom the whole planet knows is going to get the ball more often than not) and still managed to win ball games.
4th, YOU HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN HIM COACH YET. It's a fucking lynch mob by a bunch of people sitting at home that think they know more about the NFL than our coaches and GM do. Newsflash: You dont know shit. I figured our fanbase would learn by now that they dont know jack shit about building an NFL team, especially considering the how many people bashed the Ryan pick, peters pick, etc.

On a team with literally 1, ONE, UNO offensive weapon. Vince Lombardi himself wouldn't have faired much better with that train-wreck of a team.

Never once said that. I'd appreciate you not putting words in my mouth. However, the fans are responsible for us being known as having one of the worst fan-bases in the league. The dome doesn't even fill up until the 2nd quarter most of the time. Fans screaming when our offense has the ball. Over the last few years the fans have gotten much better though, but that's not the point of this post.
