-Will go through an exhaustive search concerning players, coaches, coordinators.
-New coordinators will bring a new perspective on scheme
-He wants rings
-"We have a good team. We need to become a great team"
-We took a step back. Performed like a yo-yo(up and down)
-Is not gonna use the lockout as an excuse
-Cited scheme changes for some early season struggles. Not a major factor though for early season. Coaching, players, and scheme contribute to struggles. Can't pinpoint one.
-He questions some draft picks. Some good picks, some not so good ones
-STILL thinks Peria will be a player for us
-We will be active in FA. We have money to spend.
-Great confidence in TD and Smitty
-Julio Jones trade was not a reaction to the Packers playoff game. Just needed to evolve. Julio is all he hoped for. Just gotta be more consistent in his play.
-Took time to incorporate Julio in the offense. MM is an idiot if he can't figure that out(I said that)
-It's not true that we told BVG and MM to look for other jobs after the NO game. BVG has always wanted to go back to college football. Blank is still not happy with the defense. MM told Blank that he wanted to become a head coach again.
-New coordinators will give a fresh look on scheme and talent. WE NEED TO MOVE FORWARD
-I believe that Blank said that BVG and MM would have been back if they didn't find new jobs.
-Blank wasn't sure that MM was gonna get the job in Jax after the Giants game
-Wanna be at the front of the line in terms of getting new coordinators. Want to get the first pick.
-Full offseason should help the team get better and help with team chemistry..

Thanks for posting, good stuff. Found that stuff about being "at the front of the line" very interesting. I think he is probably willing to overpay for the best available guys.

He also said the team cap will go up and we will have the money to be active in FA

He was obviously taking the high road on Mike Mularky. More telling was his surprise that Jax took him off our hands, saving us the blood.

TD hinted on 8 out of 17 FA's comming back next year.
Any ideas?
I'm thinking atleast:
Lofton
Grimes
Abe
Weems (ST MVP according to Smitty)
Sanders (really played solid filling in for both roles)
What do you guys think? And anyone have a list of all the FA's?

I think so also.. I dont think we would have brought back BVG or Mularkey... You can tell by how excited Mr.Blank seem to be when he talked about brining in 2 Coordinators who will have fresh eyes.

Right now i see ... Lofton , Grimes , and HD (for sure guys) .... I think our new scheme and money/FA will determine what we do with Abe....
I also see us bringing back cheap backup guys like Sanders, possibly Hayden

By the way, not that you didn't know this already, but John Kincade is idiotically trying to make an issue of Blank saying they expected to have BVG and MM back; totally ignoring the fact that Blank followed that with, "We would have obviously reviewed our entire staff, and who know what the result would have been of those discussions."
