I heard someone told me this yesterday... Someone else told me this today plus i saw it on twitter.

Chuck Oliver reported it initally. He said that he trusts his source and he is certain that what his source said is true.

OK.
I didnt hear it for myself so i wanted to see did anyone else hear it... multiple ppl on twitter and in person told me they heard this.
I figured this was the case (Mike Smith told them to start to line up other jobs) .... Didnt think it was after the saints game tho.... It was obvious that it was time for a change.

With Jay Gruden staying with the Bengals.... MM would have to go in that interview like Van Wilder (wildin out) to not get the job.

the first game in week 10 or the last one, LOL
but it came off as Smith was all surprised when pornstache left so quick. at least that's the way i took it. either way, if Coach did tell them that, my respect for him just jumped 10 fold. there are brighter days ahead

Yeah, I heard it too. Seems weird that he would tell his OC and DC to look for other jobs when the season was not over.
Also, today on 680 they had Finneran on and he said
1. He didn't think they should bring Abe back
2. They should definitely let Turner play out his contract
3. He thinks Matt Ryan needs to step up and he is not sure if it's the OC or Ryan not wanting to take more chances. He said he thought he saw some times where Roddy and Julio had one on one and Ryan should have thrown it up to them more. He did say it was hard to tell because he was only seeing it on tv. He seemed to be leaning towards it being more on Ryan, but he didn't make it completely clear. He also seemed to think that Mularkey would stay if he doesn't get a head coaching job.

Fin just upset me with that MM will come back if he doesn't get hired. If he doesn't get hired he can try to comeback. But he'll in for a shock when he finds the door is shut and the locks have been changed.
If we bring him back I will be pissed off.
