I am indifferent to BVG leaving, I thought he did a pretty good job, but he can be replaced. Oh don't take that as an endorsement for Mularkey, he has to go. I just consider BVG a much worse coordinator and thankfully he's someone else's problem now. I'm grinning ear to ear knowing that bum is gone. RE: Brian VanGorder has accepted the defensive coordinator job at Auburn University. - Beef - 01-09-2012 04:40 PM Well, I said it yesterday in AFT chat just after the game that I had a feeling BVG would be gone before MM and everyone cursed at me. But here we go. Just like our offensive scheme, I think our defense is full of great talent, but they are playing down to the vanilla predictable scheme so it makes them seem worse than they really are. It's time to dump the small-ball mentality on both sides of the ball and get some guys who will get us playing big-boy football for a change. I think Coach Smith and TD would have sat a week or so before making a move. He was a bum who never should have left the college ranks. Getting rid of him and replacing him with an aggressive playcaller will be huge. Nah, you can have your own opinion, but you don't get to have your own facts. That isn't remotely true.
