You should be happy.

You're probably right, he was a damn good DC at UGA.

Man, he was the only one I didn't feel bad about keeping. The fact that he made a lateral move back down to college ball says alot, he eiter expected to get fired or he knew it was time to abandon a sinking ship.

One of the reporters said smitty knew about the offer to BVG from Auburn... IDK if he knew he would take it or not... It was smart by BVG to take the job tho... The heat was starting to get hotter... Why not go to a place where you would fit better.

Getting rid of that bum is a step in the right direction. Good riddance to bad rubbish I say. His defenses were softer than a roll of Charmin, they got ZERO pressure and he made no adjustments. Thank God, Thank GOD he's gone. He was a much worse evil than Mularkey.

One down, one to go I pray. Get rid of Mularkey and it is a win/win.

TBH, I think he was handcuffed a little here. I remember his defense at UGA and it was brutal. and just think about this, he had our defense top 10 in total points 3 times playing pretty vanilla, just imagine what he could do on the college level playing the way he did at UGA.

I'm surprised really. Our defense was the strong point for us this year, and honestly did a good job in the play-off game.

Yeah, I don't agree with that at all. I am indifferent to BVG leaving, I thought he did a pretty good job, but he can be replaced.

The Falcons have put 80% of their resources into offense though, and came up with a goose egg yesterday on offense. Also underperformed in the red zone and on 3rd and short all year.

It's imperative the Falcons get a new OC, Mularkey has completely loss these guys.

Yet we were all over Manning yesterday and consistently had a Top 10 scoring defense.

And were almost dead lost in third down conversion, almost dead last in turnovers and almost dead last in sacks. He was a bum who never should have left the college ranks. Getting rid of him and replacing him with an aggressive playcaller will be huge.
