Ryan turns hot heading into playoffs. - McUser - 01-01-2012 11:20 PM Quote:Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan unleashed a dizzying array of offense in less than two quarters before he was removed from the 45-24 win over Tampa Bay on Sunday. Link I really do hope that this is just a taste of things to come. I mean that stat line of the last four games is nuts against any team. If he keeps this up, we could be talking about making plans to visit Indianapolis real soon. I know we pulled most of our starters, but we still gave up 259 yards passing to the Bucs today. Look at the other teams in the NFC, only San Francisco doesn't have a franchise QB. Romo may be shaky, but he still is looked upon well in a lot of circles. You make a totally valid point, and it's something I'm terrified of, especially playing the Giants. Our defense the last two weeks was atrocious. And that's putting it mildly. I just hope we do whatever it takes to make the QB uncomfortable out there. If we have to blitz, we blitz. Hit the QB by any means necessary. Remember the Philadelphia game. We hit Vick relentlessly, and that's what it takes to stop a passing offense. Hopefully all of them will be equipped with a tire iron and a prison shank.
