Yeah, I have a few friends from n.o, and until it turns into shit talking season they're some of the coolest...and yeah, people take this rivalry shit to a whole nother level where it doesn't really belong.

I have met many aints fans and can't stand any of them. My brother jumped on the aints bandwagon after they won the Super Bowl and he will never set foot in my house again and is out of my will. By no means am I a "younger fan" since I had Falcons season tickets in 1966.

That's awesome man! I don't forget my loved ones over football considering so many have played for different teams around the league. One plays for a team right now that I can't stand. Another plays for a team I kinda like and I have another who did nothing in a SB run...LOL

I feel sorry for you. I do not judge people by the team they happen to pull for. This bitterness toward individuals that simply support a rival team cannot be healthy. Maybe you should take a step back and look at your priorities. I have been a Saints fan since I was nine years old. I am now 54. I am about as devoted a fan as it gets. But, I cannot fathom not having the ability to enjoy people for what they are without being blinded by the colors they chose to wear.
I hope you come to terms with your brother and I would be surprised if being mentioned in your will means as much to him as you think.

Well I guess by my username you already knew that I don't hate ANYONE personally, but your team can rot...LOL.
Actually there was a time when I could actually tolerate the Saints. The only rivalry that I would see was the Niners. Then when things changed over to the NFC South I had an issue with only the Bucs. Then the Panthers. The the Saints after that "Katrina Bowl" debacle. It just didn't look right. Haven't been able to stand them since. In fact, out of all 32 teams, they are THAT one that I hate the most. Took the place of the Patriots.
