No doubt he'll be good maybe great, just a few of the simple things that anyone can do. Combine that with the drops plus the Texans beating us with their scrubs in, just frustrating dude. But I'll say this, I support all Falcons until they're time is up (yes you guys too sam baker and chris owens) but like any family I get upset with 'em sometimes.I understand completely, I'll be shaking my head at this game for quite awhile. My post wasn't referencing the people who are saying Julio needs to pull his head out of his ass when it matters, because I completely agree with that. My post was more directed towards the Swift-esque posters who are screaming bust and saying TD is a bum for making the trade. If I had a time machine and had the opportunity to go back in time and change the trade somehow, I would leave the time machine in the closet. It's easy to get pissed and frustrated, but remember that we got Julio for the long run. Even when guys like Gonzo, Turner, and Roddy are gone, Ryan has his go to man for the next decade+.

Yeah I feel you man, dude's no where near a bust. And as far as TD being a bum, don't you just hate those trolls? Our organization as a whole is top 10 in the league, 15 at worst. Other teams (admittedly or not) envy our position. We're gonna be in the hunt for a real long while. Just these guys gotta use what's inside the helmet during the games a bit more.

He wasn't at 100 percent today and still made some fantastic catches, not to mention he's already an elite run blocking receiver. His biggest knock coming out of college was the inconsistency of his hands, so don't act surprised when Julio doesn't catch every single ball within a 10 mile radius in his 9th career NFL start. I'm standing behind Julio until the end (12-15 years from now by the looks of it), because even with his negatives, he's one of the most talented players to roam the Georgia Dome in a long time. For those who are criticizing the trade because of a few mistakes, turn off your damn computer and come back tomorrow when you start thinking straight again. It happens to the best of us, I was screaming Chris Redman at the beginning of the 1st quarter today. When the Falcons have a shitty game, leave it to us to say the dumbest stuff in order to justify our emotions.Exactly, everybody knew the knock on him and people use what was given up to draft him like any rookie can control that.
Why were we in the position to need last second heroics in the first place

He's also still a rookie guys. Growing pains happen. Am I happy with Julio today? NO! But I've seen enough flashes to know he is going to do great things for this franchise.
He's a fucking kid. I'm 24, and I'm older than him.

I would say I hope Ryan is getting in their faces about the drops/poor play, but he missed some wide open passes down field too. It was all around poor play by most everyone.

Julio is a rookie. I trust his character and I believe that he will come back next season a polished WR. I did not expect much from him this season and I suggest that we all try to cut him a break.
White is a different matter. Someone needs to have a serious and unpleasant talk with him. That "someone" should be Matt Ryan.
TD drafted a player with great potential, but he paid too much for him. Now, TD will have additional pressure to draft diamonds in the later round. Let's see how he responds.
We all knew that Robinson's penalty that nullified Peterson's TD was going to bite us hard. That play was on Dunta, but allowing the Texans to march up the field and score was on the entire defense.

Julio Jones sucked major ass today. It was a horrible performance on almost every level. But, he's a rookie, welcome to the NFL, bound to have happened at some point. But saying he is bust, never should've made the trade etc... is a display of stupidity of switfian proportions, of course I've only heard him saying that so the shoe fits and he wears it like a glass slipper.
However, the true test is not what happened today but how he responds to it. That will be the true indicator of what it to come with Julio Jones.

Let Ryan and Jones have their shitty game today. Play strong through the rest of the season.
