The run game was solid. Robinson got an INT. The pass rush was on. The hitting was raw. Turner was a beast. Ryan looked like an elite game manager. Roddy looked like roddy of past years. Sidbury got more snaps.

Hate we nearly let them catch up though. Oh yeah and Ownes never ceases to suck.

Yeah, all that....

But didn't like like that we had to settle for FGs and that fumble by Turner in the redzone gave the Titans a chance to get back in the game(which they did)..

That game should have been a blowout.

Every time we are defending the goal line I actually hope for a fumble like that one against opposing teams. Ball flying and all...it had to happen to us. Good win though.

The fact that we are constantly still making stupid mistakes and either winning or giving ourselves chances to win is a good sign. We just have to clean up our play a little more. If we do, we can play with most any team. I'd love to see an inverse of what happened to us last year, happen to the Packers this year. We sneak in the playoffs at the end of the season, right when we hit stride. We win the our wild card game and go up there and shut them down. Wishful thinking? Maybe. But it would make for an epic road to the SB.

Hopefully things get better.

It's hard to imagine them not getting better. It seems like we are making small adjustments throughout the season to cater to our strengths and mask our weaknesses. We are slowly fixing things that seem to be problems. The question we just have to ask ourselves is, will we be able to fix everything in time to finish the year strongly?

I love this team, but the reality of the situation is that our secondary is not good, our offensive line is average, our special teams is struggling, our pass rush is lacking, and our offensive coordinator simply sux.

We have a great QB and incredible talent at our skill positions, plus an incredible run-stopping defense, but that's not enough to over-shadow the bad.

I'm not going to set my expectations too high just to end up 10-6 and possibly miss the playoffs. We're not nearly as good as we hoped.

Cutler broke his thumb yesterday and will require surgery, so the wildcard spots just got alot more interesting. Iggles are making a push though.

I was amazed that some rookie QB came in and we let him score two TDs. I didn't even know who he was and had to look up his draft position and college career (I don't follow College Football.). Otherwise, I liked what I saw on offense and defense. We crushed the Titans.

I was disappointed that Chris Owens stepped on the field after Hayden went down. I was also worried about Corey Peters getting beat up a little. I think Weems has no business being on the field as a receiver and hopefully when JJ gets back healthy that will be the case. That shit he pulled blocking his man before the ball was even thrown, and drawing a flag, was pathetic.

chris owens sucks monkey balls

he allowed 2 TDs yesterday and a 4th down and 16 conversion all in a couple of quarters of play. smitty needs to give walls or franks a shot if hayden is going to be out any length of time.
