Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens spent at least $3.5 million to land Marc Bulger, and while the organization is devoted to Joe Flacco, the rumblings for Bulger have already started here (I live here, trust me). If Flacco has a few more four-interception games, the roar will grow louder with this defense again dominating and Super Bowl expectations in tow. Again, it would take a heck of a lot for me to see a permanent switch here, but if Flacco is having another day like last week, might they turn to Bulger coming out of the half?

Moving to Bulger would be up there with the trade of McNabb within the division.....

......One of the dumbest things I've ever seen in the NFL

Bulger looked terrible in preseason. I think he's still getting sacked in his dreams thanks to his St. Louis days.

haha sooooo true! +1 for that! Bulger will always have the deer in the headlights posted on his face until after he retires

Brady Smith pretty much took away any courage Bulger had when he pile drived him at the end of that playoff game.

Really doubt they are actually thinking of benching Flacco but if they do good might stop a few Ryan vs Flacco threads

Flacco had a bad game against a really good Cincy Defense. I still simmer of us losing Mike Zimmer. He had our Defense semi-respectable thru all that Petrino turmoil. If he had had 1 more season to work on it he would have had us a top 7 Defense real quick, and we would have never hired Van Gorder - who requires a ton of talent for his scheme to be effective.

I havent been sold on the Ravens at all this year. If they bench Flacco at this point they might as well start playing for a high draft pick at QB.

The guy has alot of talent and a huge arm but reminds me of Favre or DelHomo; just balls to the wall every chance they get. Leads to ridiculous turnovers at the worst times and horrible performances against teams with any talent in the secondary. I know I harp on Matt for playing extremely safe with the ball so often with his throwaways and high percentage routes, but being at the other extreme and consistently making bad decisions at the QB position is NOT the way to go.

I feel like Flacco has it in him to help their offense perform well, they definitely went out and got him some help. Benching him at this point might turn him into another David Carr. Benching him for Marc Bulger? Thats just some nonsense I cant imagine any sane head coach doing.

Figures, I picked Flacco over Ryan in my fantasy draft. Yeah yeah, I know, I picked Ryan last year but his interceptions and injury killed me. Sure wish I had picked with my heart instead of my gut this year.

Baltimore would be very dumb to get on Flacco's back. The guy is a very good player with a lot of upside to him.

This kind of thing is like every teams fan base. When the QB is doing good we think he's the greatest ever, but when he plays a bad game or two we all think we should trade or cut him.
