Crowd noise in Detroit - its a problem now - The Falcon Jedi - 10-18-2011 07:53 PM The past few games there have been almost double-digit False Start Penalties for opposing offenses playing there. The crowd noise there is insane. Whoever designed that stadium did it very well, but no-one knew how loud it could be until this season. I hope we can be prepared for that. I'd hate to lose this game to those penalties. RE: Crowd noise in Detroit - its a problem now - monoxide - 10-18-2011 08:13 PM The Chicago game was more Frank Omiyale/Kellen Davis sucking, I think Boudraeu has our team disciplined enough to not give away the game by jumping early. Keep your emotions in check, and keep the yellow flags off the field. RE: Crowd noise in Detroit - its a problem now - phocis850 - 10-18-2011 09:19 PM If I was a Lions fan, I'd be ecstatic too. They've been winning games. RE: Crowd noise in Detroit - its a problem now - NOVAFalconFan - 10-19-2011 07:44 AM We have played in lots of loud road games and rarely seem to have problems with it. RE: Crowd noise in Detroit - its a problem now - Hit Stick - 10-19-2011 08:17 AM Not worried about it 1 little bit. Quit crying over everything. RE: Crowd noise in Detroit - its a problem now - evo - 10-19-2011 11:14 AM Well what do we do? take them out of the game. Just do what we're best at! Pound the ball down their throats, get an early lead, and control the clock! Then we turn Ford field into Corn Field where there's nothing but crickets chirping!

OLs are rightly concerned about getting a good jump and not letting a fast and powerful DL get through them. This makes them "twitchy." Add in a lot of noise and it makes it more difficult. |
