Anyone in mind? We have Smith, Rodgers, and Snelling. Turner gets double digit TD's every year. He's just not be used to his strengths right now.

I think Mularkey is rather poor in RB distribution.. Mix it up, we have 3 very good running backs (snelling was hurt today I know). Sometimes we need a little speed on the field and when Rogers touches the ball good things usually happens. He needs more carries.

47 passes, 1 Matty Ice run, 4 sacks, 14 runs outside of Matt Ryan.
That means Mike Mularkey called a pass call on 78.78% of our offensive plays. He needs to be fired, no balance. Impossible to win when you go full retard like this.

Turner looked very slow getting to the line and was going down easy today. He had one good run but he had a big hole to start with.

I HONESTLY thought we were going to draft a back up running back last year. I was thinking Anthony Dixon or Johnathan Dwyer

it's obvious the oline has problems, but with turner being hesitant it makes them look even worse.

Ridiculous. Yall want MM fired because we run the ball too much. Yall want MM fired because we pass the ball too much. Turner is not the problem. He is a pro-bowl running back that has carried this offense for a couple years.
Nothing against you RFlagg, the OP is a solid observation and dead on. We are morphing into a more pass oriented team now, just like quite a few people thought we should, and this is the outcome. You cant expect to be a ball control offense like we were last season and still focus on massive passing stats. The two do NOT mesh.

I think what most of us would appreciate is a little bit of misdirection, creativity, etc. We ran against a stacked box yesterday. I just knew we'd play action, but no, we ran right into the teeth of their defense for a predictable no gain.
We always run from running formations and pass from passing formations. No misdirection, no imagination. Just line up, show them what we're running, and run it. That's fine if you have an o-line full of hosses who can control the LOS, but we don't. We need some imagination to make things happen, and the only time we ever get it is during no huddle (when Ryan can read the field and take advantage of mismatches). It's ridiculous. That's my ONLY problem with Mularkey. I think his system is sound, I think his plays are good, but his playcalling is just unimaginative crap. If he can't fix it, he needs to go. This is going on 4 years now.
