That wasn't a shoulder hit, and he was clearly leading with his helmet. His headbutt lands well before the rest of his body, and he doesn't even have him arms up for a wrap up tackle. I didn't think there was anything wrong with the Jackson hit last year, and I don't think this was hitting a defenseless receiver. I do however think that this was clear case of leading with the helmet.

no it was originally $50K, but was reduced to $25K after his appeal
