Shannon Sharpe - NOVAFalconFan - 08-07-2011 08:26 PM Did you guys notice that Shannon is still jacked? That guy was unreal when he played and he doesn't look like he's gotten any smaller since he retired. When he went to the Ravens, I remember Ray saying he would compete with Shannon by trying to do more reps with his lighter weight than Shannon could do with his heavier weight. Ha, there can't be that many teams with a TE that much stronger than the MLB. Tony is in phenomenal shape, but I kind of hope he isn't stronger than any of our LBs! RE: Shannon Sharpe - GAFALCONFAN - 08-07-2011 09:02 PM He was in shape no doubt. I must say that hearing him talk about his life's story got me misty eyed. He talked about the kind of things you don't hear about while a player is playing the game, I can relate to a lot of the things he talked about I guess. Always good to hear about someone coming from nothing and achieving their goals like that. Sad that his grandmother died before the ceremony. RE: Shannon Sharpe - Penumbra - 08-07-2011 09:34 PM Tony might be stronger than the safeties. Could Shannon play again? No doubt,...but is he willing? Not hardly. It is a good thought though. RE: Shannon Sharpe - Paprika Neck - 08-07-2011 09:38 PM shannon works out hard and bangsa a lot of white women RE: Shannon Sharpe - DawnOfThemBirds - 08-07-2011 09:43 PM (08-07-2011 09:38 PM)Paprika Neck Wrote: shannon works out hard and bangsa a lot of white women Lol, I noticed that too. RE: Shannon Sharpe - papachaz - 08-07-2011 10:43 PM i don't remember knowing that the Sharpes were from Georgia, Richard Dent either for that matter. it was cool to hear about him being on the 'you're gonna get cut tomorrow' list before the last preseason game. he had a damm amazing career for someone who was on the list to get cut. it was funny what he said about JE having to tell him what to do each play. He did have a nice story, i would have been even happier with it if it had been about 10 minutes shorter. BUT - i'd listen to his back to back to back before i'd listen to Faulker again RE: Shannon Sharpe - DawnOfThemBirds - 08-08-2011 02:38 AM Does anyone know if our 3rd round pick Akeem Dent is related to Richard Dent? I've been wondering about it since he was drafted and they are both from Atlanta. Except for that whole broken neck thing... he could get right back on the field and have it snapped. |
