ESPN and the rest of the media have sold this narrative and it's pissing us off, making us lash out.
They have the whole world thinking we are all Phalcon Phils, when it's not the case.
I think Matt Ryan is a better QB than Vick ever has been, so this isn't a Matt Ryan issue, this is just frustration because Fans like you make this team look bad.
We hate getting our named sullied because of that chancre covered psychopath, because the media associates followers like you that can't let go with us. You betray your team, by supporting an enemy team's QB, and the fact that we get associated with that, diminishes all the passion, and loyalty we've given to this team.
If someone insulted or hurt your family, you might engage in hyperbole or strong words inciting violence against them as well. Real fans consider the Falcons family. This might be an extreme reaction, but a natural one.
That said, I hope that fucker leaves the Dome in a hearse.

EDIT: i understand being a fanatic, which is why I've never had a problem with someone hating dude...I dislike the guy too. but let's not rationalize it like a real Falcon fan has to have an imaginary family who doesn't recognize you as such. sounding like serial killers with a mannequin wife

I agree, I don't wish bad on any oppenent players becasue I think its karma back on our players. But if say, Abe and Jerry or Edwards, together wishboned him. I might give a chuckle.
The Eagles had to gut their D-line and the CBs, butr their problem spot is their linebackers, they didn't pout any money in there, we got better linebackers then they do. Its just our secondary. Giving the D-line time to make Vick do something stupid. like Running head first into a 300LB lineman. But hey what, he does stupid things like that every game.
The Eagles fans last year and thru Pre-season started seeing the vick we grew to know and love, THe fumbles, the INTs, getting hurt when he didn't have to. Their learning, and I seriously doubt he makes it thru the 16 game season.

Anyone who claims Vick was flipping off Atlanta fans is just holding a grudge and looking for a reason to bitch. Roddy White and Freddy Mac will both verify that he was flipping off a Taint fan that was hurling racial slurs at Roddy White. The people who repeat this lie have a blatant agenda or blindly follow people who do. Kind of like a lynch mob mentality.

There is an extremely small chance that vick will sustain a career ending injury in Sunday's game but, if he does, I going to my favorite sports bar and buy all the rounds all night.
