Listening to ESPN... (posted this on the other board) - skerfalcon8733 - 09-21-2010 02:59 PM Colin Cowherd just put us in the elite 7 category while talking about how the cowboys don't belong up there. Said it was New England, Baltimore, Indy, N.O., G.B. , ATL and Pit in no particular order. Said we have an A+ in owner, GM, and coach, stated how we are the beginnings of a great team despite the loss to pit and said in a few weeks the nation will begin to see how good pit is as well as us.. said don't let the loss to the steelers fool anybody because we are the up and coming team in the league. Also said that the cowboys do not belong in this group because their owner is an A, GM a B+ and Coach a B- Just thought I'd pass that on! Cheers!
RE: Listening to ESPN... (posted this on the other board) - phocis850 - 09-21-2010 03:02 PM Wade doesn't look like much of a coach. I could walk up to him and tell him to get me a water and he'd do it. He does what he's told and is not a forceful coach at all. The Cowboys need that(forceful coach) right now. He doesn't exude much confidence when he looks like he's carrying a pantload all the time. RE: Listening to ESPN... Many may disagree, but I really like Colin. I disagree with him sometimes, but generally agree with his opinions. I'm amazed he's lasted this long. The dude obviously lacks leadership abilities. RE: Listening to ESPN... (posted this on the other board) - Peyton - 09-21-2010 03:22 PM If the Falcons OL keeps dominating teams the way it did AZ, there aren't many teams that are going to be able to hold this offense down, even if it is a weapon or two short of where I would like it to be. The defense looks awesome so far in both games really, but we need to see it against a real offense.....and we will this Sunday. RE: Listening to ESPN... Rarely, if ever, does a team go through a season without a weak point here or there. You just have to have win at home, win the games against weaker teams, have the ball bounce your way more times than not, and get hot at the right time. RE: Listening to ESPN... Jerry Jones wouldn't tolerate another "Boss" in that organization, and that is why he will always have a less than stellar team. When you look at the successful organizations, the owners are active, but they are not the major football force in the club. Stealers, Pats, Indy, Giants, and I could keep naming others, but you get the idea. |
