ATF HAS A NEW POSTING SETUP PLEASE READ!!!!! - phocis850 - 05-31-2011 12:10 AM

Ok. So things may be a little different, for the better of course.

Here's the deal. All topics are to be discussed in this forum. When you visit AFT you will be redirected instantly to this forum. So, you will be where you need to be. Smile

With that said, we are now utilizing Thread Prefixes. When you start a new topic in THIS forum you will see next to "Thread Subject" an option to set the topic prefix. Please use the best option. This shouldn't be difficult to figure out. If your topic is about the Falcons, make the prefix Falcons. If it's about Godzilla, set the prefix to off topic.

Why are we doing this? This off-season is boring as hell. There really isn't much Falcons talk and the same goes for the NFL in general. But sometimes you want to start a topic that you want people to be interested in that is off topic. Previously, it that forum was frequented very little (same with all others). Now with utilizing a thread prefix system, this allows those usually forgotten topics to display on the main page.

I understand everyone is here for the Falcons first. That is why I have created the thread prefix for all falcons talk to be bold and red. So if you don't want to be bothered with College or Off-Topic threads, then you can easily find the ones that interest you the most.

With all that said, I've already tagged the first page of topics in here to give an example. It's not very trivial.

Now, I've setup the other forums we used to have and placed them in the "archive". You can still post freely in there, but that really goes against the purpose of this change. No posts or threads were deleted, just moved into the archive is all. All previous links to those posts are still the same as well.

I hope you guys enjoy the new setup. Please be sure to prefix (tag) your posts with the appropriate category. That will allow this change to flow smoothly and to help us continually enjoy the AFT experience.

Thanks! Cool

Good stuff, now we just need a VO program set up (Ventrillo or Mumble).

Thanks for the great work here. This is by far the best fan forum going, and can be the best fan gameday experience with the chatroom and VO addition.

Good stuff. Spreading out too much, too early usually causes stagnation in a lot of MBs. This is a great way to counter this problem.
