has anyone heard anything about the negotiations? weren't they supposed to be started again monday the 16th, per the Judge Nelson orders? or is that out the window with the 8th Circuit decision that favored the owners...i haven't heard or seen any news on it, just curious

Nothing important came of it. Reportedly the Owners made another offer, but there are conflicting reports as to if it was a legit offer or just fluff.

Why don't you go on strike by yourself and find out.

You are clearly way in over your head on this one. Maybe you should just stick with obsessing over Roddy's Twitter activity.

We can argue and debate the merits of the owners' decision to opt out of the CBA. It won't do any good. It does not matter what the teams' books show. It does not matter the reasons for opting out. It does not matter whether the players are considered "partners" or not. None of that matters.

What really matters are the CONSEQUENCES the owners and players are willing to accept in this dispute. To what extent will each side stand off? I really can't say. The only thing I can be sure of is this: I will be getting to know college football a lot better this Fall.

Yea it doesnt matter what we think about this. As Fans we are the ones getting screwed over by Owners and Players. It just sucks.

I could not have said it better.
