Rashard Mendenhall doesn’t see why ‘people can HATE’ bin Laden

PITTSBURGH — Rashard Mendenhall has created a stir with comments made on his official Twitter page regarding Osama bin Laden’s death.
The Pittsburgh Steelers running back on Monday tweeted: “What kind of person celebrates death? It’s amazing how people can HATE a man they have never even heard speak. We’ve only heard one side...”
Mendenhall, who played for Illinois and Niles West, didn’t hold back, even making a reference to the Sept. 11 attacks.
“We’ll never know what really happened. I just have a hard time believing a plane could take a skyscraper down demolition style.”
The Steelers felt compelled to act. On Tuesday, team president Art Rooney II released a statement.
“I have not spoken with Rashard, so it is hard to explain or even comprehend what he meant with his recent Twitter comments. The entire Steelers organization is very proud of the job our military personnel have done and we can only hope this leads to our troops coming home soon.”

Rashard is actually correct in some of his thoughts. Celebrating a man's death makes us no better than anyone else. In fact it makes us look like a 3rd world country. We're America, kill the guy, tip your cap, and move on like you expected to do it all along! No need to storm the streets and rejoice. Classless act and we wonder why other countries hate us?

and I was in the city that day and this is coming from someone who lost a friend that day..

If you believe 9/11 is a conspiracy you are a little dumb. Citing Loose Change as a source is even dumber. Numerous experts and lifetime conspiracy theorists have debunked 99.9% of the claims in that video. They actually laugh at that video for being "proof" of some 9/11 conspiracy.
Also I have a tough time believing you were in the city that day or even lost a friend. You've been caught in so many lies, so I pray you aren't pathetic enough to lie about that but your past doesn't make you trustworthy.

Because I can choose to read any of your posts I want individually. Don't you know how the ignore option works? It's pretty awesome. I had a hunch you were going to say something about a conspiracy theory and 9/11 because I've seen you spit that drivel before so I clicked "show this post". I'm actually a fan of Obama to some regard and voted for him but you keep calling me a racist. Am I racist towards whites because I am white? I don't get it. Racist people would not vote for or support a man of color, I'm pretty sure.
