We don't have a CBA, so we can't even talk to the free agents. However, a CBA will eventually be signed. Give me the names of the guys that you'd like to invite to camp.

Here are mine"

Ian Williams DT, Notre Dame: A NT prospect that can take Trey's place

Graig Cooper RB, U of Miami: I believe that he can be a full time RB in one year. He would be, in my eyes, the featured RB, once Turner is done.

Willie Smith OT, ECU: A back up to Baker. He has the foot agility and length. All he needs is a year in a NFL weight room.

I think Herzlich, Lockette, Devlin, & Willie Smith are all definite possibilities.

I like Herzlich but with his medical situation , I think that he would prefer to work closer to his home town (?)

My lord, there sure are a lot of guys I like undrafted.

Herzlich! May be a special teams guy right now, really best for a 3-4 ILB, but you have to love the guy.

David Mims: 6 ft. 8, 330 lb tackle who gave up ZERO sacks last year.

Mario Fanin: I don't know where he would fit, but he is plenty dang talented.

Derrick Locke: I wanted him in the 5th. He went undrafted. 4.3 40 time. Fantastic athlete, just plenty of injury questions.

unless I'm incorrect he beat the cancer and is cancer free. apparently, the type of cancer he had is curable like 80% of the time.

I thought it was more a question of whether or not he lost a step. Could still be coming back from chemo, but not at the level of a starting LB in the NFL.

He did lose a step, his 40 time at the combine shows that but, he had to have a steel rod placed in his leg to replace the bone he lost to the cancer. His docs told him he may never play again. after he was cancer free he returned. He improved every game despite an injury riddled return and ultimately finished 3rd in tackles with 4 picks.( I'm sure if we had PJ run a 40 the begining of last year he would be pretty slow too). He's recovering and getting quicker, stronger, faster, better. I really hope he makes a team and I hope it's ours, he will have a home in the NFL and will be good.
