Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Mike Vrabel was arrested for theft Monday at a Florence, Ind., casino.

Vrabel was arrested at the Belterra Casino Resort & Spa on a Class-D felony charge -- the lowest level of felony crime in Indiana -- but was released Monday morning after posting a $600 bond.
"It was an unfortunate misunderstanding, and I take full responsibility for the miscommunication," Vrabel told ProFootballTalk.com in a statement through his agent Neil Cornrich. "I feel comfortable that after talking with the appropriate parties, we will resolve this matter."
The crime carries a penalty of six months to three years in jail and a fine of up to $10,000.
Vrabel, a 15-year veteran, won three Super Bowls with the New England Patriots before being traded to Kansas City along with quarterback Matt Cassel.
Vrabel has also been a vocal member of the NFL players association and is among the 10 players named in the NFLPA's antitrust lawsuit against the league.

First thread on the board, I'll bite. Thank God I don't have to read whatever nonsense he's probably posted up. I bet he makes some weak ass attempt with this to excuse Dez Bryant and attack the concept of avoiding lower character players. Cuz everybody knows, in order to have a winning team you have to have bums, thugs, and jackasses dotting your roster.

hahahaha,...misunderstanding, miscommunication.
Note that the Pats and the Falcons both have a friend in Kansas City,...Pioloi. That was the jist of the Gonzales trade, Dimitroff taking the vet off the hands of the new GM in KC,...for a second round pick.
We could see some trade activity with the Chiefs and the Rams even.
