The thing that kills me about Mularkey and his gadget plays, hes got the worse timing in the world to pull them, We need to be straightforward and he doesn't get it. Like Matt Ryans first play ever against the Chiefs. DO THAT to start some games, just start the game with a bomb, instead of doing lets do the run run run.

The thing is that Mularkey needs to have some gimmick (or his words: gadget) play in order to actually gain some yardage. Problem is a defense has so many chances to stop an ultraconservative offense. If the defense makes a mistake, we get 7 yards, not 7 points.

Preaching to the converted. I made this point around the end of last season, and in the off season. Our YACs dropped like a rock. I would have to check them back out, but I think Gonzo, definitely Jenkins, and White had major drops, if not career lows, for their YACs.
