I have a quarter ounce in my sock drawer, guess I'm on the same level as having nearly a million dollars in legal fees plus the cost of jewelry taken without payment. well thats a felony weed and being sued isnt Quote:Babineaux was with another man, 25-year-old Aaron Robinson of Minneapolis, who also was arrested. Robinson was charged with possession of marijuana, a felony. I just ask has Dez Bryant been arrested ? has he been charged with anything . I know you people wont answer cause the truth hurts . What Dez did was get loaned or bought some custom jewelry on credit and never paid back..Shit Nique who is what in his 40's just got in a fight over some custom suits that he never paid for is he a bad guy ? What Dez needs to do is grow up and walk the right path ..Sooner or later the kid will either get it and do it like Roddy White did ( lack of work ethic) or he will fizzle out and be in trouble and be out in the NFL after many chances. There are hundreds of athletes that get sued for not paying there bills everything they get they think there entitled to Dez is not the only one and wont be the last Michael Irvin was sniffing coke and getting in trouble didnt stop Cowboys from winning Super Bowl same with Lawerence Taylor . We need to stop thinking these football players are heroes or something or role models cause they are not . Half of them are fuck ups that get bye on life from their god given talent . With that being said Dez Bryant will have more of a impact on his franchise then a OLB like Weatherspoon ..those are just facts . RE: Dez Bryant adviser: “He’s in a dark place” - atljbo - 04-02-2011 01:06 PM You are comparing guys that made a dumb mistake (most was already on the team before TD got here) with a guy that has has a history of doing dumb shit.... My thing is... Its a couple of players that i wanted us to get (that has a little trouble history) but at the end of the day... I understand why TD doesnt do it... Greg Hardy is one of the guys. This Dez bryant is a talented guy... I would love to have his talent on this team... Dude have top WR talent in the NFL... He is not worth it tho... Not worth having to have special rules for a guy... One reason why guys say they love Smitty... He treats everyone the same... I remember McClure saying Jim Mora jr was a good coach but team leaders didnt like bthe fact that he gave D-Hall and Vick "special treatment" .... Dallas is a ultra talented team but the team chemistry is not there... Its just not worth it. I'm not going to get into the Deion convo... Some think this or that... The guy is doing great things for kids.... The team chemistry is not there cause they dont have the leadership in the QB imo or players around him where TD brought in Tony G and Matt Ryan to be our leader he needs to trust these players to police there own cause if not WHO THE FUCK ARE THEY LEADING DID TONY G AND MATT RYAN LEAD THE FALCONS TO A PLAYOFF WIN ? am i missing something is this team destined for greatness? ..I just want to win as a football fan . I want to win a chip and sometimes imo the risk outweighs the reward . Thats my opinion.. I could be wrong... Just my opinion. I will say this... If Dez didnt have the off the stuff... I would pick him over Spoon... But if dude didnt have the off the field stuff... He would have probably been a top 10 pick... My whole thing is.... I'm not debating could he have helped our team out.... I know dude could have BIG TIME.... My thing is... I understand why TD passed him up... Dez could very well get it together... I hope he do... I liked him in college and i like him in the NFL... He is a playmaker. I dont get that cap statement you made.... When a team dont punt at all... Its more then Matt and Gonzo (even tho Matt did have some dumb mistakes) And with leadership.... How can you have a leader when guys that goes by different rules... Thats the point... I have some friends that are cowboy fans... They are always telling me how Brooking is a great leader and this or that... RE: Dez Bryant adviser: “He’s in a dark place” - mdrake34 - 04-02-2011 02:46 PM Auburn has nothing to do with the Falcons. Leave my alma mater out of this. RE: Dez Bryant adviser: “He’s in a dark place” - takeitdown - 04-02-2011 03:24 PM The Steelers kicked a very good wideout, Santonio Holmes, off the team. They're consistent winners. We're going more for that model. I didn't want spoon, and would have taken Bulaga or even considered Dez, but these distractions usually aren't worth it. His talent? great. Do people need to be boyscouts? No. But they need to be team players. You can't have people with different rules. You need to know they're going to practice hard, play hard, and take coaching. I don't really care about loans or Mary Jane....I care if they are punks who won't take coaching. RE: Dez Bryant adviser: “He’s in a dark place” - Swift Is a Die Hard - 04-02-2011 05:01 PM Takeitdown- I really don't think Steelers is a good example when they kept there QB who is a rapist . You know why they kept Big Ben cause he is a winner and won super bowls if Big Ben was your run of mill QB he would have been released I'm not defending Dez I said kid needs to grow up but he is still a baby and hasn't matured yet . He needs a real mentor a guy like Roddy would have been perfect for Dez to groom , Roddy didn't have the work ethic early in his career and needed that Joe Horn RE: Dez Bryant adviser: “He’s in a dark place” - atljbo - 04-02-2011 05:36 PM (04-02-2011 05:01 PM)Swift Is a Die Hard Wrote: Takeitdown- I really don't think Steelers is a good example when they kept there QB who is a rapist . I like the guy as a football player... Iffellike its excuses tho... Jerry Jones try to keep Micheal Irvin around the guy... He is the perfect role model to me... He is a HOF WR... He shows you what the wrong things can do to you... He has experienced it. When he is on the field... He produces... Its his maturity ... Got to be a leader.. Not trying to be cool and be a follower. Could Roddy have helped him... Maybe.... I cant say he could have for sure... Some times guys that has been "the man" for so long.... You can try to help them but you cant tell them shit. Its like when Abe said he tried to help JA98 when he first got there but JA98 turned him down.... The same thing Chuck Smith said. We cant "if" ... We can only go by whats happening now. I hope Dez get it together tho... Dude is ultra talented... But like i said... I can understand why TD said no... I remember espn did a special about Dez (when the 2010 draft was going down) ... TD was one of the guys in the segment saying how much of a playmaker Dez is.... So he scouted the guy and know what he is. Most wouldn't have kicked off Santonio. My point is, they likely kept the guy who was busting his ass on the field (Roethlisberger.) As much as people talk about character, they usually mean "football character"...whether they'll bust ass day in and day out on the field more than if they party, etc. |
