moves on the falcons roster 9/14/10 - bF™ - 09-14-2010 09:22 PM
-the packers signed dimitri nance from our practice squad (RYAN GRANT IS OUT FOR THE YEAR)
- C rob bruggeman was released from the 53 man roster to make room for babs; he was later signed to PS to replace nance

grrrr at the packers! i wish we had put nance on the 53 instead of smith, big sigh, good luck to him i guess until we play them of course

I never got a chance to see the pre-season. What made Nance so good? Or was he just good enough that he deserved to be on the roster instead of Smith? What seperated Nance from the rest of the guys? Did he show flashes of speed, power, good running back vision?
I am just trying to see if this move will be reminescent of us trading Favre to Green Bay.

he's fantastic at catching the ball out of the backfield. he was a catch and run, downhill type runner.
showed excellent vision, and the ability to make a quick decision, one cut and go

Sounds like a good back. Green Bay should enjoy his presence. Lord knows Rodgers doesn't need another freaking receiving threat though lol. I wish we could actually develop a gameplan for a receiving runningback out of the backfield (I'm staring at you Mularkey; start using Norwood)

Sucked, its going to suck bad if he turns into like Knowshon Moreno or somebody, then the old, so who had this guy and didn't sign him.
