Over the years I have seldom watched the Pro Bowl past
the first Qtr, and never past the first half.
Most pro bowl that have featured Falcons players did not
show case very much of our players.
The stark reality of the Pro Bowl is that it is
a play not to get hurt funsies game between the players.
Last night our boys were in the game and while it was fun to watch
them having fun, I was still ready to turn it off after the first half.
But I kept the game on for one reason, and that was
the Chat Room Feature of this site.
It is just too much fun hanging with everybody,
in chat, during the game and I had a blast.
Also know that the chat room on this site
beats the boogers out of the In Game threads
on the "other web site"
The next 2 events are the SB and the Draft.
Should be a good time as usual.

BTW we need to find Bucman for these In Game Chats.

totally agree karst. the in game chat has really been a lot of fun this season. some of the bowl games there were only a few of us in chat, but it still made it a lot more fun than watching the game by myself.
once again, cudos to peyton and david for this whole website. the chat, the freedom, the fact that respect for each other is mandatory, and the quick ban hammer that gets dropped on obvious trolls...
i'll be in chat for the SB and draft day, depending of course on when i go back to work from this back injury.

Same here. I rarely watch the pro bowl but this year I watched every snap simply because of our staff coaching the NFC side. I guess the last time I watched an entire pro bowl was when we had the same deal after the 2004 season.

Truth be told,
I had 2 women in the living room watching chick flicks and drinking red wine.
Being the Smart Man that I am, I quickly grabbed my notebook and ran to my
room and locked the freaking door.

I agree. I love the chat site. But I still think whoever the one here is that hosts the server for this really needs to look into a voice overlay program, like Ventrillo.
It's a free program that everyone can download. Everyone gets to log in & we can actually TALK to each other. The site admin set it up on the server with an IP address to login from the free Ventrillo interface program everyone would have. You set up a push-to-talk button, make sure your mic is turned on & speakers work or buy headphones with a mic to plug in, then admin can setup a main room for game chat on game days & other rooms for people to bounce into for other discussions just whenever they feel like it. It stays on 100% of the time & people can just come & go, able to have real discussions voice to voice.
I promise it would blow away the "typing" chat room. And if people wanted to debate something, they could log in & talk it over rationally rather than mucking the forums up with stuff.
