He didn't show much of anything.

There is so much about this season to feel good about, but there was a few things to be disappointed about.

Bierman showed he is just a rotational guy.
Owens showed that he is just a special teams player.....at best.
Gonzo appears to be slowing down considerably.
The front office did nothing to bring in an additional WR after preseason injuries to Jenkins and Meier.
Lofton has still not made any game changing plays at any point in his career.

I think that is about everything that disappointed me this year.

I'm most disappointed in the stubbornness of this coaching staff. It takes weeks to make adjustments that should be placed in the second half of a game. For instance it took 3 weeks to adjust pass protection schemes. I just feel like Smitty has a mindset that he's still coaching the 2000 Ravens. You have to have an elite defense to get away with the offensive scheme we run. We you have a QB with elite potential it's moronic to have an offense as simple and predictable as ours. We have a porous defense, and an offense that isn't built to play from behind. The no-huddle is the only saving grace.

I think that is about everything that disappointed me this year.
I was disappointed that Sam Baker didn't raise his game in any noticeable way this year. He's serviceable but I don't think he's ever going to be a stud LT.

I was disappointed (yet again) that Norwood couldn't stay on the field. He is our Bob Sanders.

I was disappointed that Peria Jerry didn't make a stronger push for more playing time as the year progressed. I gave him a pass for the first part of the year due to his injury.

I was disappointed that Ryan still struggled with consistency and composure against the better defenses.

I was disappointed that Dunta Robinson didn't come close to living up to his contract. He's a definite upgrade over Houston but when you pay for a Lamborghini it's somewhat depressing to find out you only got a Prius.

I was disappointed that our coaching staff, from Smitty on down, got outcoached by the better teams we went up against.

We are all disappointed,...Beirman disappeared. Perry was a non-factor. A 3rd round pick started at DT over a 1st round pick, Jerry. Maybe a first admitting Dimitroff has a bust. Like Peyton said,...Lofton has some issues.

Dunta has been a huge disappointment. He was abused last Saturday night. But keep in mind Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL at this time.

It's just tough crap,...now we have a washed up TE, as well as Abe, and problems with the interior O-line not to mention zero pass pressure by the front 4,...and questions about the secondary. The running back situation will most likely stay the same with a return by Norwood.

Sorry for rambling,...bottom line is this regime has not given us what they promised,...yet.

My biggest disappointment is that in the biggest game our team has seen in 6 years we were completely outclassed, outcoached, and outperformed. It's still early but I think that's honestly going to make me look back to this season as a mediocre one and more of a failure than anything.

I talked to Biermann at the Falcons Scrimmage game before pre-season and asked how many sacks he is planning on getting this year. He said he wouldn't be satisfied unless he had 10+. I believe he is capable of doing so, he just needs a little more help. Our DL was being manhandled because of how small they are. I wouldn't mind going 3-4 with a big fatty in the middle to take up 2 blockers. It really wouldn't be any different than what we have now. The difference would be an addition person off the line to help BVG out with either blitzing or dropping back into covering the MIDDLE OF THE FIELD.

As long as Smitty and BVG are here, we won't run a 3-4.

Biermann was definitely one of the biggest disappointments as far as players go. TD has to go out and get some explosiveness.

Saints 1, Packers 1, Ravens.

It is hardly like we lost to every good team we played this year.
