I'd like to know who you would have picked in the 09 and 08 drafts as well. Anyone have that on file? We do know that this team would be QB'd by Byron Leftwich, coached by Singletary, Vernon Gholston would be getting 3rd Overall money, etc.
What other genius moves would you have made?
Harry Douglas, blame the scheme for Douglas dropping numerous passes all year long. You don't know a damn thing about "schemes". You were "bright" enough to even suggest Mularkey wouldn't know what to do with two #1 caliber WRs when Hines Ward and Plaxico Burress smoked the NFL with Tommy Maddox of all QBs throwing to them back in 2002 with Mularkey calling the plays.

I actually liked Matt Ryan and in the long run I wanted him drafted . I wanted Ryan and also Vernon Gholston that was probably the only player I have missed on through the years
In the 07 draft I polluted the message boards for almost 3 months that Patrick Willis should be our MLB to replace Brooking coming up and he will be a beast Im sure some people like mdrake can validate that claim .

Thats the thing fellas we can all crack on each other from atljbo whose famous NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO thread of Matt Ryan to whatever we all make mistakes and we can criticize each other for them outside the select few who never form opinion of own why cant we criticize TD for his SPOTTY drafts last 2 years,,
and I loved TD draft of 08 outside the Harry Douglas pick over Manningham..Im pretty fair as I see it .. I said the

Swift,we have all said things that are off the mark and we all will again. You do realize you are just a run of the mill troll on a message board that has some disorder to criticize the Falcons regime constantly. I don't know if you're jealous that they get paid to make all these "bad picks" and you don't, I don't know what the problem is. The only draft class that we can fairly judge now is 2008 and that doesn't count Douglas.
The Steelers came up empty on their 2-4 round picks in 2008. They chose Kraig Urbik in the 3rd round in 2009 and he's on Buffalo now. The Steelers have drafted some real duds. Bill Bellichick passed on Mike Wallace for Brandon Tate, so I guess he's a moron and Pittsburgh is smart now. It's an inexact science and I think the Falcons have done fairly well at it. The only draft picks that have been complete failures SO FAR in my opinion are Chevis Jackson and Chris Owens (yes I liked Owens, but he looks like a mental midget).

I was a Manningham fan and still is... but im not gonna cry because we didnt get him.... no one was crying during HD rookie year and that next offseason when everybody was saying he was looking really impressive.
HD should be HD again next year..
Its funny how ppl bring up old threads...lol... I was super wrong about Matt Ryan until i looked at his 3 biggest college game (right before the draft) ... Everybody has said something that was wrong before...
