well I was right

This is the thing I love most about you, Swift. How you like to take your c*ck out and jerk it all over the board every time you think you're right about something.

Yeah, we woulda been tons better off taking Dorsey over Ryan.

I am a die-hard Packer fan. Have been since 1991 when my father took me to see Majik man and co. I was 6. I am not here to troll. Or gloat.

I was told about this message board by a member of our forum, Ice2White.

Matt Ryan, by general definition is MUCH more than a game manager. You know why? His skills are highlighted by what he is known for, the intangibles, such as being unflappable and composed. Joe Montana didn't have the best arm, or the best statistics but you know what? He was the original cool. Ryan's career is what, 3 years old? A jury cannot be out on a guy who just had 28td's with just 9int's. Plenty of time for a superbowl - Ask John Elway (who handily knocked us off our perch the last time we were at the big game).

Ok, so he didn't have the best of times against our defense, but hey, it happens. I watch every Packer game without fail - there are some things only fans of teams know as they watch every snap.

One thing we do know is, regardless of how talented you are, you must have a solid base of fundamentally sound football to build on. The Falcons have that. They seldom beat themselves and Mike Smith has instilled discipline. With another (defense-orientated) draft under their belt they will be in the top echelon of NFC teams again. I expect our respective teams to meet many more times in the future. You guys are looking at the next breed of quarterback in Rodgers and Ryan.

The Packers lost games in the regular season that were solely because we made mental mistakes. It frustrates us when we beat ourselves and a lot of us have said that the Falcons are the model franchise - fundamentally. You cannot under estimate just how important that is. Right now, The Packers are stacked with talent right now, when they get it right, they are as good as anybody on both sides of the ball.

Talent needs execution. You have the execution. Drafts and free agency is where you acquire more talent.

I know more than most how it feels like after a tough loss - last year's game against Arizona wasn't good for my heart, a rollercoaster. But knee-jerk emotions subside - when it does - you guys will see how good you have it.

We have all the weapons we need. Both those picks were Ryan's fault and the reason why its not 21-14 us but instead 28-14 them.

While Ryan deserves the majority of the blame for those picks, it is clear we don't have the same type of weapons GB has. Jones, their 3rd WR, goes up and snatches the ball away from perfectly played defense. Jenkins falls down. That's sort of it in a nutshell.

As for the second devastating pick, yeah it was a bad throw. But you kind of ask for it when you ask a right handed QB to roll to his left and make a throw into a tight window. It's a terrible call. I didn't like it earlier in the season, and I hated it yesterday.

There was plenty of blame to go around from this game.

Good post

but there is a huge difference between Rodgers and Ryan its really not even funny . Rodgers has that swag in the pocket and plus he has a great live arm that can make any throw and attack down field he can scramble out of a pocket and make throws on run and his accurate

Matt Ryan game is based on throwing outs and dump routes based off running game opening things up . He has no long ball , his ball hangs in the air and allows dbs to get back into play . He really is a glorified CHAD PENNINGTON is that a bad thing no Chad was a winner to and Matt Ryan is a winner but he is not a capable QB to carry a team on his back like a Rodgers, Manning, Brady, Brees etc ..so we need to surroundteam with more speed and game changing players so Ryan doesnt have to dink and dunk and when he does it can be a explosive play

Ryan is a winner but he has LIMITATIONS . Rodgers does not ..It is what it is you guys have a special QB congrats and good luck rest of the way man

The only way Williams got the interception was because he literally had nothing in front of him but air to make the catch. If Jenkins wasn't clumsy and jumped like he should have that's a touchdown catch.

lol this is possibly the biggest homer post I've seen in awhile. There was no fucking way Jenkins was catching that. AT BEST he would have broken it up from Tramon and it falls incomplete.

We need a better offensive scheme and more playmakers. Matt Ryan can only do so much. He really needs to work on arm strength in the off season. Look at that pass that was picked in the end zone. It looked like he was about to disembowel him self and he still underthrew it not even half the length of the field. We need an offensive mind like McDaniels in here because if TD refuses to install playmakers on the offense, we are going to continue to have these problems. Ryan isn't just a game manager but he's not an all around stud qb either. He's a tweener in that regard. WE need a system that takes advantage of his intangibles and masks the fact that he can't throw a strong accurated deep ball to save his life.
