With a win today OUR Atlanta Falcons clinched the #1 Seed, and HFA throughout the playoffs. The Poll questions is this:
If we lose in the playoffs at any point, would you consider this season to be a success and be happy with it?

I voted disappointed but excited about the future. But only 1 team has a successful season every year, the Super Bowl champions. Nothing else matters.
Know what everyone remembers about 18-1? The Super Bowl.

for the team to take a next step in the process 3 years in you would think we get 1 playoff win ..a Playoff win is a must cause next year is not given plus we can be losing our TE as well and with the new CBA you never know I want to win and win now .. 3 years in most teams that are successful win playoff games just getting there is nice but we need to get some playoff wins under this regimen

Goal number 2 - Get to the SB
Goal number 3 - Win NFCCG
Goal number 4- Get to the NFCCG and lose... I'd be glad that Smitty and Co. won their first playoff game

I think the season is a success...without a doubt. No matter what happens in the playoffs.
There are going to be teams with more physical talent than the Falcons sitting at home watching the playoffs.
This team has gotten every ounce of winnage out of themselves.
Can they do it for 3 more games?
I don't know. But in my opinion, the season is already a success.

It will be a success even if we lose but I just want us to compete. I have come to expect effort from this team that I do not think I have seen in some other years. I do not want so see us turn into the hawks and get stomped in the first or second game and let people say we were the "same ol falcons." I hate that saying. Even if we go down I think the way they perform on this stage can earn us some respect.

If we lose our first game, then I will be sad...
unless MM leaves somehow and then that game will be forgotten and I will move on
