Yes, it will. Will be a wake up call for the offense and the team in general, we can't afford this type of close games anymore. They can go either way. The loss hurts, but it will only make the team stronger going forward. Here's for blowing the Panthers of the water and a deep playoff run!

G'night!

I agree. This loss doesn't bother me as much as it should. We made uncharacteristic mistakes, left at least 3-4 sacks on the field (I though a safety too), and had quite a few wrong calls going against us (in our home!). Also we got a bit conservative as usual at the end. All that we still had a chance to win this game. Not too bad.

I blame Roddy though for creating distractions. He may have kept his own focus but the team clearly made mistakes that they haven't made all year long. That happens when you create unnecessary hype about a game for which you should feel no tension at all.

hate losing to the saints..dang. but we still can win the division, number 1 seed and home-field advantage

This is how I will feel in the AM. Look at our track record after losses. This is as close to being a loss we "needed" as there is.

Loss stings cause I fucking hate that team QB, with a passion more then I ever did since they got a chip but maybe we needed this and bring us back down to earth a lil .. We do lose that invincible tag at we never lose at home but this loss we can maybe look back on and said it made us stronger

I hope so, I really do. One thing to think guys is that we will be celebrating next week. So chin up.

nice post i think the exact thing man we need a wake up call especially at home and we will rise up to the occasion especially in the play offs where everything is on the line. Also i dont think we showed all of out true offense cuz were going to go against them again in the playoffs. they're going to beat the st lous rams at st louis

Welcome man. Nice 1st post.

Only thing I have against the "our playbook was closed argument is how many times this year did we line up in a Trips TE set? ZERO. How many times has Matt hid the ball behind his back? ZERO. So why do brand new shit if we aint tryna show our hand?
