That is the only positive to take from this debacle.

You need to get your eyes checked if you think Turner still has the same burst he had his first year here.

wah wah wah, we're only going to finish the season 13-3.....ohhh woeee is meeeee,

geez people, get a grip! why not give the NO defense some credit, you do realize they earned their pay tonight, right?

i hate to say again what i've said all year, we need an OC, who said we have a solid one? what we have is a PREDICTABLE one. hopefully someone will hire this moron to be their HC next year and give us a chance to put in an OC that can and WILL take our offense to the next level

Snelling turned it upfield as you described, and got maybe a yard. So yeah, Taints game planned to stop the run, and they did a damn fine job of doing that all game long.

I feel horrible for Mcclure. So not like him, he's usually rock solid. But shit happens. Offense just couldn't overcome it tonight, and that's in large part to what chaz said. Their D stepped up.

Plenty of reasons the Falcons lost, but those two plays were huge.

How about the momentum killing BULLSHIT x100 double PI call? When you watch the replay, it was 1000% clear Roddy was simply trying to get Greer's arms & hands off him & that's it. He didn't push off, he didn't swat or swing or grab, Greer freaking held him & he had to forcefully break free. There was absolute zero offensive PI. On top of that, the rules for offsetting penalties when there's a yardage gain are fucked up. We ultimately lost 20 yards & a 1st down while they didn't lose shit. There was no "offset" about it, we got penalized massively. That's not right.

Also, how about the non-call intentional grounding by Brees on what should have been a Biermann sack & safety? They didn't call it because there was a man on that side, but the ball was nowhere close to him, it was 15 feet over his head & landed a foot from the sideline. Brees was CLEARLY just trying to throw it away out of bounds. His freaking arm was moving forward to throw it before his body & head were even turned in that direction for crap sakes.

Add to that the fact that a PI in the endzone on what would have been a TD, SHOULD be called an automatic TD. Placing it on the 1-yard line only gives the defense all the incentive to purposely commit PI. That means it's a jacked up rule.

Yes, McClure messed up bad, but it was a fluke. Never happened before & will never happen again.

Yes, Turner got stripped on the 1 yard line. His 1st fumble in 417 carries, & the fact it was really a strip, chalk it up to REALLY bad timing & a good defensive strip. I don't really hold it against Turner. It shouldn't even have been a possibility is the thing. The endzone PI should equal a TD, period.

We should have had between 21-28 points if not for the refs & some total bullshit rules.

Yes, our playcalling was predictible as usual & the Saints played some amazing defense all game. But, our defense played better & everyone knows it. Our offense would have seemed a lot better if not for these jacked up situations.

the PI in the end zone shouldnt have happen in the fist place. Ryan ball HANGS too fucking much . Jenkins had him beat for 5 yards ball floats in air allows corner to get back and get in position to make play or cause PI

that should have been a td . Ryan had protection , Jenkisn ran great route ..get ball down and get it to him

but Turner shouldnt have fumbled and the play calling to run Turner into oline back 2 plays in a row was mind boggling

That's the dumbest freaking argument I've ever heard. That was a perfect throw.

You and me both will never truly be happy until MM is gone.

Did anyone else notice how strange the snaps were from McClure UNTIL he fumbled the snap? Most of them were at Ryans knees. I just saw a fumble coming soon. I really think McClure had some mental block going on. After the fumble he was great.

That was furthest thing from a perfect throw. First off if it was perfect it would have been completed . 2nd if you can catch a replay you will see Jenkins had to wait for the ball to get to him and that allowed corner to get in position to PI

Ryan deep ball hangs and i been saying it all year and have for past 3 years the projection needs to be down .
