Would you as a fan look at this season as a success if we dont get 1 playoff win ?
I will be the first person to say that I would be severely disappointed if this team can not get 1 playoff win especially it being on our home field and us having this great season winning the division etc . I also do believe we are going to win the divisional game whoever we play but want to judge some other fans reactions of how they judge this season
of course our future looks bright we have a very good young QB , very good back and a top flight wr and a great coaching staff but things can change , a lock out can happen so while the future is bright I dont want to take that for granted

I think this is a good question. I believe the fan base has been dealt a hand that gives us a high percentage of winning. I'm not going to lie. I will be disappointed, however I understand that things are looking bright for this organization and we should have more chances in the next few years.
We've never really been a winning team before. It's really a shocker and I believe will take time to get used to it.
I won't feel worse than a Bills fan though. Making it to the last game and year after year losing it.

agree but like you I would be extremely disappointed knowing we have things our way home field throughout so that the road to the super bowl runs through our stadium where we have been basically unbeatable under this regimen
I think we will win though at least 1 and im confident we can beat any team in the NFC i just dont want to face the Eagles

To be one and done in the playoffs will be a disappointment for sure but I wouldn't deem the entire season a failure because of it.

If we go 14 -2 or 13 -3 and lose in the second round of the divisional playoffs I would have to say for me personally it would be a dissapointment. I will still not poo poo what we did in the regualar season, but I would still love to see us go deep in the playoffs..

Anything less than making it to the NFC Championship should be considered a fail.

Losing in the postseason - whether in the first playoff game or in the Super Bowl - is always extremely disappointing because you don't get a chance to rectify things until the following season.
That said, one loss can not wipe out 12+ wins. Regardless of what transpires from here on out, this season has already been a successful one. And knowing that we are a team built to sustain that success - unlike previous Falcons teams - would make any playoff loss this year that much easier to swallow.

For me, it will depend on what happens in said game. If there were one or more injuries early that knocked key players out, I wouldn't be disappointed because it's hard to win in that situation.

I was upset after the Arizona playoff game but not devastated . We were on road , rookie QB , they jumped our snap count , they contained Turner and if it wasnt for a 2nd half fumble exchange we probably go on to win that game and same with a 3rd and 16 conversion
ENTER IN DOME ... OUR HOUSE /NOISE and we dont lose at our place. ..
a loss in this playoff circumstances would be devastating to me especially divisional round..I can stand a hard fought loss in Championship game I wouldnt be thrilled I would still be heartbroken knowing we were 1 game away from the big show but you can build off a playoff win
