William Moore - Tandy - 12-21-2010 07:41 AM William Moore is one of the hardest hitting, ball hawking, awesome DB's we have ever had. He reminds me of Lawyer Milloy with his hits - vicious, but legal. I tell you I cringe every time he lays one of those pad-crunching, mind numbing hits on the opposing players. I have actually seen receivers act like they didn't see the ball coming to avoid a hit from him. Not only that - but consider this. Our offense has been in the top portion of the league in TOP all year - and is in #1 for that spot right now. Yet, this guy - in his first year as a starter on our team (basically a rookie since he missed his rookie year) - has 60 tackles - 51 of those unassisted - 5 interceptions a forced fumble and a recovered fumble. Do you guys know what potential this man has as his grasp of the game and speed of the game gets better? I love our DB set right now. Grimes is the clear leader at this point with the way he is playing - but I have a feeling William Moore will come out and shine like no other safety we've ever had! RE: William Moore - The Falcon Jedi - 12-21-2010 08:29 AM Moore is going to be a great one. He reminds me of a young Ed Reed RE: William Moore - komic - 12-21-2010 09:35 AM Moore is the best Int returner we have. he always finds a way to pick up good yardage to help set up the offense. Glad hes starting over coleman RE: William Moore - g-dawg - 12-21-2010 10:10 AM I was totally 100% on board and diggin' the draft pick when Falcons drafted William Moore. He was coming off several injuries and missed time but his potential was so great I was willing to overlook. Then Moore had a few injuries and a "lost" rookie season and I almost gave up on him think Willy Mo was going to be "one of those players" that was perpetually injured - shades of Jimmy Willliams you could say... Thrilled to see Willy Mo being 1) healthy all year and 2) makin' plays and bein' a baller....... ....Now if we can just get Peria Jerry to come around.
RE: William Moore - Peyton - 12-21-2010 10:15 AM That kid has a bright future, no doubt about it. RE: William Moore - caver50 - 12-21-2010 10:39 AM He doesn't hold anything back and he plays smart. The best of both worlds. RE: William Moore - Red Falcon - 12-21-2010 11:17 AM He's my favorite player on defense. I'm glad he has finally come around. RE: William Moore - papachaz - 12-21-2010 12:17 PM now if he can only stay healthy.... /purple off RE: William Moore - Slamee101 - 12-21-2010 12:37 PM Another great pick up by Dimitroff. I follow college football and didn't know anything about this kid when we picked him up. The Big 12 sure has been good to us. RE: William Moore - Red Falcon - 12-21-2010 12:42 PM And to think, he should have a couple moore picks than what he has...... He was extremely close to grabbing a couple more earlier during the season. |
