I was listening to 790 The Zone at work today. The 2 Live Stews show was on and they were going on and on about the possibility of a Falcons v Eagles showdown in the playoffs in Atlanta. They ran on and on about how great it would be and how great Vick is and how he didn't do our team wrong when he was with us and how he never gave up! (I seem to remember a home game against Dallas which he did!!!) Even though he admits that he didn't study or prepare for games!!!
What appalled me most was when they said that it wouldn't matter to them that in the event of this scenerio the Falcons won or lost~they'd be happy either way since Vick was "the man" that represented this city. I understand that Vick has paid his debt to society but frankly I am glad that this trash is in another city away from us and we now have Matty Ice & Company~~~~
I love listening to the Mayhem in the AM guys and will continue to do so but I am DONE with the 2 Live Stews~~they are a joke and I refuse to listen to them anymore. If this is how they feel then perhaps they should move to a PA station and leave Atlanta!!!!

Everyone says that Vick is the one that needs to meet Atlanta in the playoffs and get redemption. But I mean, shouldn't it be the Falcons that need redemption if the showdown happens? Vick wasn't, nor will he ever be, betrayed by the Falcons. The Falcons were let down by Vick, and ultimately betrayed after he went to prison. He left our franchise in a state of turmoil.
I think it would be a better story for the Falcons to take Vick's Eagle out in the playoffs. Then again, what do I know? I could just be a 'homer' Falcons fan, right?
If it comes down to it though, and the Falcons lose, I'll be upset, no doubt. If Vick wins a superbowl, I will be happy for him, but I'll still be pissed off!

Those two are the biggest homerlicious MV jock sniffers in Atlanta. I listen to their show in bits and pieces sometimes in the car, just channel surfing, but it's mostly a bunch of blow hard b.s. You KNOW someone is an Ookie if they say "he never gave up" even after Mike V himself has been all over national television admitting he was lazy, not focused, and not committed while he was here in Atlanta. And to call him a "representative of this city" in any way shape or form, I just find flat out insulting. He wasn't born here. He didn't play college ball here. He doesn't live here anymore to my knowledge. He's not doing his illiterate AirTran commercials anymore. WTF does he have to do w/Atlanta? Nothing at all. Let him rep Philly. The 2 are a better fit.

The 2 live whatever their names are, annoy the shit out of me. I think they base a lot of what they say on race rather than reality. The only way I listen to them is if Jim Donnan is on 680 because he makes me go to sleep.

The two live Stews are a couple of racist clowns.....but they are fairly entertaining at times. They reflect the reality of this racially divided city. When Vick and the Eagles come to town the Georgia Dome will be 50% filled with people wearing #7 Eagles and Falcons jerseys cheering for Vick. It will be a pathetic spectacle that the national media will harp on for days......."the city too busy to root for the home team"

Hard to believe those 2 idiots are on the radio....wait, it must only be because others on that station are much better and these azzclowns are carried.

If the Iggles come to the dome to play us, I will sell my ticket and stay home to watch it.

I heard that too, the young brother said he is going to cheer for Atlanta, it was the older one who said he doesn't care.
F that, f vick, if it wasn't for him being caught, going to prison, and losing everything he had he would still be a lazy dog fighter.
Even if he didn't fight dogs, I still am happy with Matt Ryan.

Karma owes Vick. His time will come. Either you are a Falcon fan or Vick fan. There isn't any middle ground in my opinion. The Falcons were screwed by Vick, not the other way around.
