Ryan is not elite. He wins games but that's doesn't make him elite. Elite is putting up huge numbers, making the big plays downfield and carrying a team like Brady, Manning, Brees and Rivers do. Ryan isn't at that level and you're a complete homer if you think otherwise. And the winning games debate is the same thing people said about Vick. All Vick did for us was win games but he was no where near an elite QB. Right now Vick is closer to being elite than Ryan but it's close. Ryan is still in game manager who can make a few plays for you mode. He'll become elite as he matures and understands the game better. He works hard and he'll get there. Right now he's just good enough. If he ever starts hitting the deep ball then he will reach elite status.

Vick didn't win all that many games... Ryan is about to break Dan Marino's record for win in his first three seasons... I am pretty sure Ryan's game manager title was done with after the Baltimore Ravens game.

Ryan has a 63% completion percentage and passer rating over 90 in 2010. He is on pace to throw for 3,800 yards and 28 TDs. You wouldn't call that elite production?

08' Tampa game Ryan was pretty bad but Turner carried us on his back to a important win think he ran for over 150+ yards ...Not sure if you remember or were a fan in 08'

THINK WE ARE 16-1 WHEN TURNER RUNS FOR 100 YARDS
So as much as you want to put Ryan into that ELITE status he simply he not , there is a thing about being a flat out homer and being realistic coop . Ryan is special and he has a chance to be a elite and GREAT but at this moment he just is not that yet

next level ...if someone is to say Eli Manning is a better QB then Ryan is how can you not argue he isnt ? Manning help lead Giants to a Bowl..
I think Ryan is better then Flacco but Flacco has help lead his Ravens to some playoff wins ..Flacco needs to take next step in development .
Aaron Rodgers is a better QB then Ryan imo ...looks and stats ..but he needs to take next step to be considered elite

all this about stats being the reason for an elite Qb is retarded, thats actually one thing about matt ryan i love, he doesnt care about his stats, he jsut tries to win wether it b by air or ground he is jsut trying to get the W, n the fact that he is only 1 GM away from tieing Dan Marino for most wins in ur first 3 years n let alone can beat it says enough, yea a superbowl speaks major volume but it doesn have to make u Elite, again i speak Dan Marino who nvr won it. and if u cant call Marino an elite QB of his time then u better start watching a new sport. but for kicks i will throw out another stat, wich is i beleive when Ryan has a rating of or over 100 i beleive we are undefeated, so we very well know he can put this team on his back. more proof watch what he did to Baltimores defense this year. he clearly won it for us. alot of people say Ryans success is cuz of Turner, this year i truly beleive its the other way around. im a lil hesistant to say Ryan is elite just cuz its his 3rd year. hard to call a player Elite that soon but if u where to name one i would gladly stand up n say it is Matt Ryan QB OF THE ATLANTA FALCONS

I don't care what title you mohogs put on our QB. I wouldn't want anyone else in the world to lead this team and we are winning more with him than with any other QB in franchise history. He is going to be the one that takes us to the promised land. Stop trying to label him, and just bask in the glory that is his awesomeness.

The thing is, I have no doubt that Ryan will achieve top 5 production and lead us to many playoff wins. I say this because I'm not afraid to go out on a limb and have an opinion. If my opinion turns out to be wrong, you can laugh at me just as we all laughed at you for prematurely classifying Ryan as nothing more than a game manager.
