It's fine. In my experience, people who get banned usually deserve it. I wonder how people get so pissed off at anonymous ranting by internet tough guys? Especially when it is over college sports, which suck.
Keep in mind that policing those boards is not a fun job. Lots of insane rejects on there. I'd ban people left and right.

bullshit, be a troll and live forever there, ask the mods why they don't ban trolls and you are ip banned. You guys are a joke, 6-7 years as mini mods and you guys don't do jack shit about all the garabge flying around you guys cry and cry about how the front office won't let you do anything yet you ip ban people that question you quicker then you can think.
Your a bunch of power hungry douches that should have been replaced years ago because your lazy and won't lift a finger to clean up the board unless the poster has personally pissed you off which often doesn't break the rules.
You won't ban obvious trolls with -800 ratings that spam the board for years but you will very quickly ban anyone that gets under your skin.

I've never been banned from any board, ever. Sac's pm the other day was the first time a mod has ever said something to me, ever, and he didn't even word it as a warning, he knew that I'm a respected poster that normally stays within the rules and asked nicely that I stopped bypassing the curse word filter. I responded politely that I would clean it up and asked him to please make sure to enforce that across the board, as I have seen numerous other guys there doing it ::coughugafanscough:: and he assured me he was on top of it.
With that said, alot of other dudes have been banned for alot less.

Has everyone expressed their issues with the OFMB? This thread is slowly turning down a road it doesn't need to go. So if anyone else has anything else to say (within reason, and without attacking anyone), Say it now. I will be closing this thread in a few hours.

I'm not a mod there, or anywhere.
Sac, Banker, Shiney, and Hal are good guys - not perfect, but they give their time for free and do a pretty good job, as do the Mods here.
It is one thing to get banned for breaking the rules, it is another to make excuses for your own actions and point your finger at a Mod.
No, I'm not going to read the rules here or there to you, do it yourself.
If you don't own it, then consider it a privilege to be a member and post on it.
Just like your drivers license gives you the privilege to operate a motor vehicle on the road.
I admit, there were threads I responded to that I probably should not have said what I dd.... got lucky.... just like this morning while driving to work...I exceeded the speed limit at one point.... got lucky.
Get caught?... shame on you, shame on me.

Yeah the last things I'd like to say is I hold the mini mods personally responsible for how bad the OFMB has gotten due to their lack of actions and their personal vendetta's against people.
I really hope the new admins looks at how they have handled themselves over the years and sack them all and replace them with mods that actually do their job, ban obvious trolls and don't just ban people that personally get under their skin.
For any of the mods here reading this it is 100% your fault the ofmb sucks as much as it does because instead of doing any actual MODERATION you let the forums be a playground for your own personal means and got lazy about actual trying to clean up the boards.
Alot of us tried to suggest alot of ways to help clean up the board and how to handle the trolls and all you did was down talk to us, berate us, or just out right ban us to keep us quiet instead of taking care of the handful of obvious trolls that had negative ratings so high you'd have to be completely blind to what their agenda's were.
At any given time their were only probably 5 or so people that were flooding the boards with spam you could have cleaned it up in just a few mins but you let it fester for years and over time permanently damaged what could have been a great place for Falcons fans to talk to each other.
Your laziness and inaction has destroyed the boards and I hope your happy with that crap you created.
Now alot of great posters have either left or been banned and that place is a shell of what it could have been.
