Clay Matthews: "We beat ourselves...in all four losses" - ATLBound - 11-29-2010 08:30 PM Really? Because I could've sworn it was Tyson Clabo eating you up all day long. We beat you and the rest of your team. If you knew how to play run defense as well as you pass rush then it would've been harder for us. If he didn't notice, Turner's long run was to his side of the field. RE: Clay Matthews: "We beat ourselves...in all four losses" - TomBradyMVP12 - 11-29-2010 08:32 PM I can agree with him.....Rodgers fumble at the 1 and the face mask penalty...That's what I call beating yourself. He didn't just drop the ball on his own accord. We actually hit him. Also the reason he was running it in was because our run defense was stout up to that point. Our run defense dictated that possession. On the face mask penalty...if he had not done that then Weems either would have ran it all the way or got even further. after he juked the kicker he had a free lane. RE: Clay Matthews: "We beat ourselves...in all four losses" - TomBradyMVP12 - 11-29-2010 08:45 PM What I meant by it is tough to win when you fumble the ball and give cheap penalties. RE: Clay Matthews: "We beat ourselves...in all four losses" - markdzul - 11-29-2010 08:45 PM agree with above posters, if anything we kept them in the game. Lofton dropped a pic that would have killed one of their scoring drives and someone else dropped another one. We, even at nine and two have left a lot of TO's on the field ourselves.... Lofton didn't drop the pick, we just didn't challenge it. we would have won it, but we also got the catch from Gonzo, so it evened out RE: Clay Matthews: "We beat ourselves...in all four losses" - nativefalcon - 11-29-2010 08:58 PM (11-29-2010 08:30 PM)ATLBound Wrote: Really? RE: Clay Matthews: "We beat ourselves...in all four losses" - The Falcon Jedi - 11-29-2010 09:22 PM I find it funny how we have a talent of making teams beat themselves. That's actually pretty impressive to me. You have to maintain possession all the way to the ground and he dropped it when he hit the ground. |
