Reported on NFL Network yestereday that he is marrying his longtime sweetheart Sarah Marshall in the offseason. I think it was Rich Eisen who said it. Don't know if this is "old news" or not.

Congrats to Matt and Sarah.

no he's not......and Rich Eisen already winged Matt with that line back when Matty Ice got drafted - Matt basically in so many words - said he would not talk about his private life. He did it nice but it was awkward - at least for Rich Eisen it was.

here she is......she's not smokin' hot but at least Matt knows she's not a gold-digger either as they reportedly have been an item for 7 years. Since she played basketball and is 5'8" we should be able to get another starting Falcons QB out of this deal in about 25 years.

That's just one more thing that earns him respect in my eyes. He stuck with someone that he shared some common ground with instead of ditching her for some model. He is wise beyond his years.

I agree......dude has ethics and character. If he's not shacking up with her then he really is a......about said "saint" but not that. Big Grin
