LOL i got off work at 3, just getting some 'down time' before bed. oh and i +1 ya for this thread... good to see you over here as well as over there RE: The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read) - The Falcon Jedi - 09-18-2010 04:52 AM >> As for chessplayer, i went and read that whole thread in our Rules section, i swear to me it seemed as if he was DARING peyton to ban him, so he got his wish. then he runs over there to cry about it. almost as if he was trying to seem like a hero over there for getting banned over here.<< Ok, I didnt see the Thread in question regarding that. I didnt know what happened, other than he was acting immature with me, then he said he got banned over arguing about me. I had an argument with chessplayer, but I didnt know it went to that level afterwards. His post made me think of the saying "too big to fail" and to hell with ya'll if you don't like it. That just upset me, because I was just trying to find out some info on the problems the board was facing. RE: The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read) - phocis850 - 09-18-2010 10:39 AM Alright enough chessplayer talk and let's get back on track. Sipes, excelent post. I believe they will get their act together but what's to say something else wont loss people off? The mod ratio there should at min be 1:1000. Right now its 1:10000. This board will always be by the fans, for the fans. RE: The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read) - Peyton - 09-18-2010 11:13 AM Superfan, Dude, nothing but respect for the candor you have shown. It's true this board came together at the time that it did mostly because of the format changes involving advertising over at the other board, and the game day crashes. Since it gave us a chance to build something from the ground up, we kind of embraced a few things that we wanted to be different here. 1. Everyone has to be respected here. 2. The members have legitimate input into what happens on the board. 3. Just in general keeping garbage threads out, threads with no purpose other than to incite ill emotions. Obviously, that doesn't mean anyone with a skeptical view, as I am famous (this season) for being one of the most skeptical of the bunch. B But there is a right way and a wrong way to express yourself here, and people just have to figure it out if they want to stay. So far everyone is doing a pretty spectacular job I have to say. I think some of the mods are upset they didn't get to ban anyone yet .As a result of the way things are operating here, I don't think this board is going anywhere even if they get all the technical aspects of the board straightened out over there. Anyway dude, your input here and your candor are extremely appreciated. RE: The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read) - TeamPlayer1 - 09-18-2010 11:30 AM Thanks, Supes, that explains a lot. I am disgusted by the haters and trolls, also but don't have a problem with any poster who is p*ssed about the team and states his case. Should have 2 mods assigned to TATF, 1 to College Football and 1 to ABF at least and 1 to rove all sections. Plus have a waiting period before you can post and a bit longer before you can start a thread. RE: The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read) - The Falcon Jedi - 09-18-2010 11:36 AM My theory is that if everybody just behaved themselves and discussed football without throwing mud at each other, then there wouldnt even be a need for Moderators. Just my .25 cents (the current value of the us dollar) RE: The difference between the Falcons OMB's and other OMB's (Long Read) - nativefalcon - 09-18-2010 11:44 AM (09-18-2010 12:40 AM)DaMeatTrough Wrote: SacFalcon and Shiney seem quite power hungry to me. Sac was always great to me and very fair, Shiney on the other hand, what did he ever do? He was non-existent.
