And its more than that and just the same.
Two examples.
#1 Cam Newton. Its obvious he can play. Its also obvious the stories are true. No offense Auburn fans. Right now Auburn, the SEC and the NCAA are making a lot of money on him, just like Reggie Bush. Nothing will come of it, just like Bush, until he is far away from the NCAA and sanctions hurt no one.
#2 Notre Dame. They haven't been a part of the national picture in like 20 years but they sell out everywhere. No matter how bad they play they find a way to sneak into a bowl game, sometimes a BCS one, and fill the stadium and city with thousands of Irish fans. Everyone makes money. Think about it if you were running the Fiesta bowl and the city of Phoenix desired a big boost in revenue who would you invite to your game? Boise State and their few thousand fans or ND and their tens of thousand fans to fill your hotel rooms and restaurants and bars.
College football...at least they still have the option.

For those that don't know, there's a clause written in the BCS formula just for Notre Dame. They are GUARANTEED a bid if they finish in the top 10, or something like that.

Not a fan of college football.
BCS is retarded, the talent gap is huge from team to team/player to player, and it is just as corrupt as the NFL.

I would say college football is much more corrupt than the NFL because of the best teams are "decided". That is as shady as can be. At least in the NFL, it is based on results on the field.
