NFL Trivia Question - Peyton - 11-16-2010 11:54 AM

I won 33 of my last 38 starts at QB and made the Pro Bowl twice.

In both years that I made the Pro Bowl, I led my team to the Super Bowl. Two different teams.

My playoff record was 4-1.

Despite my 86% win percentage in the latter parts of my career and 80% playoff win percentage, I was never deemed the starter of any team during that part of my career.

Who am I?

+2 for whoever gets it. Don't cheat.

Its gotta be Dilfer, the bald guy on ESPN ? He bounced around quite a bit and I KNOW he won at least one Super bowl

RE: NFL Trivia Question - Stewie - 11-16-2010 12:08 PM

I don't believe it is Dilfer...I think he only made the Pro Bowl once...

RE: NFL Trivia Question - Tandy - 11-16-2010 12:08 PM

No. It's not Dilfer. I don't think Dilfer ever made a Pro Bowl. I would be shocked if he did.

I looked it up and Dilfer did make a Pro Bowl in 97. Must have been a terrible year for Quarterbacking.

I don't think it's going to be any household names. I'm thinking it'll be somebody that was a backup most of their career and only saw time as a starter when the teams regular QB was injured.
