Only 3 Teams can Catch Us Tomorrow! :) - kibitzer - 11-13-2010 10:52 PM
Jets, Pats, Steelers, and the Giants can all catch us with a win tomorrow. Here are the teams and the matchups:
Jets (6-2) / Browns (3-5)
NYG (6-2) / Cowgirls (1-7)
NE (6-2) / Pitt (6-2)
NO (6-3) and GB (6-3) are both on byes. But if we fart and lose to the RAMS next Sunday, and those 2 win, they could even up w/us.
Giants are almost assuredly going to catch up. I can't call the other 2. How do you guys see this shaping up? It's good to be king, even if only for a little while!

The AFC teams dont really count. But I see the Browns beating the Jets, and Pittsburgh beating NE.
I also predict an epic upset: Cowboys under Garrett are going to beat the Giants by a FG. And it will be a close game.

I agree the Giants v Cowboys game could be close... but they gave up before the season started. I'm calling blowout.

I know they don't count as far as us making it to the big game, but it is still nice to hold the best record in the NFL for a change. I disagree about the Giants/Cowgirls game, but I could see the other 2 you picked happening. Browns are going to be UP for this game, and they've shown they can hang w/the upper echelon teams now. If GB can blank the Jets, I think the Browns have a really good shot at it.
Not AS sure on Pitt/NE, but I could see that happening as well.

Giants, browns, steelers. All I care about is the giants losing even if it is to Dallas.

You really think so? I mean, I can see a shake-up helping them out somewhat. But it's hard to believe that you could place ALL of their pitiful performance thus far this year squarely on Wade's shoulders. He must have boinked one of their girlfriends or something if the team had that much ire for him, to be mailing it in on purpose.

I can't believe I'll be pulling for the Cowboys the next few weeks. I'm going to need a week long shower at the end of the month.
