Everyone bitches and complains Jenkins sucks , he needs to be replaced..Shit I even wanted to draft Dez Bryant to replace him down the road but all Jenkins does is make the big catch when need be so ..He is not Roddy White , he doesnt have that kind of talent ...He is our future Brian Finneran ...That is who he is when we need to keep chains moving he makes that catch . When we need a catch in the 4th that will keep the drive alive ..he makes that catch
all he does is make the big catch ..He isnt the greatest number 2wr but he gets the job done ..what a CATCH on his finger tips stretched out and gets feet down .

Yeah.....well the catch would have been a helluva lot more routine if he had just used the rest of his hands lol.
Ok, I'll admit it, when Jenkins gets completely ignored, he can be very valuable.
I still think the Falcons will be drafting someone to take his job this off season.

Good post Swift, and I'm thinking you're right. Jenkins may never light up the league, but we don't need him to, not with Roddy breaking out like he is. We just need someone who can reliable catch the ball to move the chains.

I think Matt should always throw it away from Jenkins' body. He only seems to uses his hands when he needs to reach for it. I am joking, but the point does have some purchase to it.
If we bring someone in to take Jenkins' job, then in all honesty a scheme change or a trade is going to happen. You can't be paying a guy that much and have him be the 3rd option amongst receivers. Especially with HD there, you aren't gonna move Jenkins to the slot. HD does need to find his groove though, I am behind him 100% and think people have been hard on him, but at the same time he has got to start putting it together. We know he can do it, just needs to get back to that place.

Jenkins steps up when we need him.. Ryan missed him on an earlier play when he was open too...I would have liked to see what Kerry Mier would have done this year though as well

Jenkins may be an average or below average #2WR from a production standpoint - but if your team must have a catch on a crucial drive at the end of a game - there is no one better than Jenkins - dude is CLUTCH!
