Time in the pocket - caver50 - 11-12-2010 08:37 AM I wished there was a way to check to see how much time each QB had in the pocket. It looked to me like Flacco had just as much time as Ryan, but the anouncers kept saying that Flacco was under constant pressure. I just think that Ryan has a much quicker release. RE: Time in the pocket - Swift Is a Die Hard - 11-12-2010 08:41 AM oline played great ..Ryan had all day to throw ball.. even the sack late he went through his progressions and didnt see anything more a coverage sack .. I'am not saying that Ryan didn't have time, I just believe Flacco had just as much time. ESPN had a great point on SportsCenter this morning. While Flacco did have time to throw, he had trouble getting his feet set where he wanted on many drives. They pointed out that Flacco is good when he can set and throw, but nowhere near as effective on the move. His accuracy drops dramatically if he doesn't get the chance to set before he throws. That was a major difference last night, Ryan was accurate on the run, Flacco was not. RE: Time in the pocket - Jesus - 11-12-2010 11:15 AM I dont know. Flacco's pocket collapsed a lot. He ran around trying to make plays way too often. Our Oline looked pretty darn good last night. |
