If I Was One of Michael Vick's Creditors . . . - HolyDuckett! - 11-03-2010 01:18 AM The best case scenario would be for him to scramble for 25 yards on the first play from scrimmage, take a late hit out of bounds and re-injure the rib cartilage. Then go on injured reserve. There are SO many teams totally hurting for a quarterback right now the dude would get PAID as a free agent. Maybe a 3-5 year deal at 5+ million per year. Maybe a 10 million dollar signing bonus? That's probably his worth right now. But I don't see his stock rising from there. He looked GREAT against some mediocre competition. But the Eagles schedule is pretty brutal from here. It would be a shame for him to Doug Johnson out there if he stayed healthy. I noticed how he actually scans the field, he looks to pass first. I think Vick is becoming a legit QB now. He still has work but I am sure we will see him as a starter for awhile unless he takes them crazy hits to often. No matter what shape he's in - it's going to end his career sooner more than later if he doesn't learn to be the QB and not the hero in every game. Nothing wrong with getting a first down - or even a TD here and there - but he has a lot of playmakers around him - he needs to learn to utilize them, make smart plays, good decisions and most of all to protect himself from all the headhunters who would just love to be the guy to put him out. |
