Hurry-up DL rotation - sonnyjim - 10-28-2010 01:45 PM It is often said that the purpose of the no-huddle offense is to hinder defensive substitution. It changes the recovery rhythm. When Cincy went no huddle last week the Falcons stopped the DL rotation and got a little gassed. I bellieve that with defensive helmet communication BVG could tell Lofton to designate two linemen for substitution pre-snap. The substitutes would be sent down to the line of scrimmage pre-snap. At the whistle the designated resters would immediately head for the sideline and pass the subs on their way in. What am I missing here? RE: Hurry-up DL rotation - phocis850 - 10-28-2010 01:56 PM I agree. We have a great thing with the rotation, however, the problem is that they get gassed. If we end up playing Manning in the SB, then we are screwed.
