Good to see the Cowboys suck... Brooking was a good story in ATL once upon a time... he made GT proud.

The Pro Bowl is a joke and so is Brooking. What's really the height of idiocy is the implication that one would, given the choice, take Brooking over Moss even with his "110%" effort. I get it now though you guys want a boyfriend, Brooking is just your type, we must really be hurting your feelings.

Please point out where it was ever said that one would take Moss over Brooking. The only thing that was brought up was effort. The implication that I would rather have Moss in at linebacker would just make me an irresponsible and uneducated fan.

Serious question - is there anyone who believes Brooking would be a better choice than Lofton, Spoon, Peterson or Nicholas? Personally I like who we have but I'm curious to know if anyone disagrees.

Let's put it this way...I would take Chris Houston back over Brooking. I would take Jerry Glanville back over Brooking. I would take Rankin Smith's family back over Brooking.
In short... Keith Brooking was the biggest fraud that ever hit our payroll and yes I am taking Aundray Bruce into consideration.
Brooking is the guy in a situation who yells the loudest and does the least. In real world terms, if five people are working on a project and the project is successful, Brooking is the guy that is the first one to say whoooo! when the boss says 'great job' yet he was the one who contributed the least to make it work.
The film does not lie. I'll never forget how many tackles/big plays guys like Patrick Kerney and Brady Smith made only to be upstaged by Brooking's Rick Flair imitation.
Did you ever wonder why some guys like (as much as I disliked his mouth/attitude) D. Hall completely blew him off everytime they created a turnover/sack/ big hit when he ran over to them to get in on that celebration action?
I hated for this reply to be so long and it could be longer. The messed up thing I WISHED we had a guy to induct in the ROH that grew up here and played all of his ball here that was worth our support.
I coach youth football and I can tell you a lot of these kids dream about being Falcons so I don't dislike Brooking for third and 16. I dislike him for 1998-2008 a.k.a the decade of deception.

Peterson has been a complete bust as a Falcon. He's the worst linebacker in pass coverage I've ever seen. And yes, that includes Aundray Bruce and Marcus Cotton. So the real question is would you rather have him over Nicholas and yes, I would.
But this is now two years removed from when it was viable. Keith played great for the Cowboys last year mostly as an ILB in their 3-4 and he's having a good start to their season so far in the same role.

It was when he momentarily thought he was a New Orleans Saint and tackled Lawyer Milloy as he was stopping Reggie Bush from scoring a game winning TD. Aaaaah yes the good old days...smh

I appreciate the sentiment but just thinking about that has me breaking out in a cold sweat. I think I would rather carve out all my teeth one by one with a rusty ice pick and wash it all down with some iodine.
Now that I think about it, it wouldn't surprise me if somehow Taylor Smith was involved in firing Supes.
