Dude is on TV talking about how Dunta, Merriweather, and Harrison need to be suspended.
We are talking about probably the meanest, dirtiest, lead with the helmet safety that's played football in my lifetime, who obliterated more "defenseless receivers" than anyone, and NOW he thinks those types of plays should be penalized with suspensions.

Im sorry but Dunta made a vicious - CLEAN - hit. The guy had possession of the ball, and Dunta laid a solid 2x4 of lumber on him. It happens.
The slow-mo instant replays dont serve this analysis at all. Watch the play at Full Speed and realize that Dunta had only a Split Second to make his play.
And Dunta got hurt too, so they need to shut up.

I just don't have any idea how you are suppose to play DB in this league. If a WR is running at you full speed and you have a clean open shot, I don't see how you avoid getting a penalty.
Maybe they should just issue nets to the DBs so they can gently wrap the WRs up in the net rather than hit them when they have a clean shot.

Agreed. They prevent the DB's from really playing physical, and adding more would be crazy.
