LB Sean Weatherspoon (ankle) practice Wednesday after missing Sunday's game against San Francisco. "I'll get a better assessment once I'm out there but I'm feeling pretty good," Weatherspoon said. "I have to make sure I'm doing my treatments and staying on top of that." Falcons RapidReports

He better do those treatments.

I would just as soon have him sit out this week and be 100% for the Eagles game. Coming back too soon on an ankle is asking for trouble.

Hard to tell what the problem really is. He might be fine. I do not think they would let him practice if it was something that will linger.

With the way we've been treating injuries this season, he's more than ready to go. We've been treating any kind of injury, to almost any player, very carefully...

To me, this is saying that Spoon's injury is nothing serious

Ballfan, hopefully you and "the Don" are right. Maybe Smitty learned from last year when he brought Michael Turner back too early....

I just know that even a mild ankle sprain probably needs more than 2 weeks to heal. Its been 9 days.......just think caution should be excercised - maybe it is.

I'm sorry, but if he can play, with Josh Cribbs 'and Seneca Wallace's running abilities , we need Spoon in there. It would be pretty nice to have a fast LB in case they try some Wildcat or other gimmicks.
