There's got to be a way out of this. Gonzo just signed a broadcasting contract. It may forfeit his term with us there.

Actually we will get the money back when he does files retirement papers, I truly believe this was his agent trying to get a payday without the team noticing, I don't think TG did it on purpose. For those in the F TG mode. Get a damn life he was classy while he was here, we should have traded him to a contender instead of holding onto him. I personally thought that was classless on our part so if it was intentional perhaps the Falcons deserved that. As far as the Aints they will find a way to keep graham. They are onloading all sort of higher priced players.....I don't think they will be better and honestly I don't think Byrd was worth that. If they lose Graham. I hope TD contacts him......even if we have to pay him....lol

the team wasn't going to accidentally pay TG millions of dollars. TG held out so that he can choose to come back with another team, yeah we will eventually get that money back when he retires but its money we could be using right now in FA, which is why we released him rather than just wait for him to retire. Right now he's just eating up cap space that we could be using on someone else.

We probably should have traded him to a contender, but he probably should have had his ass in training camp as well. He got exactly what he deserved, absolutely fucking nothing.

His money was all guaranteed, just split over two years. We're still way under the cap, and Tony's money will eventually fall off, so don't know what you're all getting worked up about. We need about $8M to sign all our rookies at draft time still, so not like we would be spending every penny we have now anyways.
